Marketing & Brand Manager
Children's Hospital & Medical Center - Omaha
I oversee the planning and implementation of Children's Hospital & Medical Center, Children's Physicians, and Children's Specialty Physicians marketing plans in order to accomplish organizational and departmental strategic goals and objectives. In this position, I manage the planning, development, and execution of external marketing vehicles, campaigns, and events designed to engage consumer and physician audiences for Children's Hospital & Medical Center, Children's Physicians, Children's Specialty Physicians, and associated entities. As Marketing & Brand Manager, I build collaborative relationships with physicians, executives, and other internal and external stakeholders to achieve organizational goals; and ensure HIPAA and compliance standards are met in all Marketing activities. I manage a team of marketing strategists and production staff in operational activities, including recruiting/hiring, orientation, training, and recognition.

Doane University
Supervised a team of 10 marketing professionals that comprised the Office of Strategic Marketing and Communications. Started Doane's online degree marketing. Created the Open Learning Academy brand and marketing plan that generated over $18.6m in revenue in just five years, with enrollment from every state in the U.S. Over 700 students enrolled in Open Learning Academy courses every eight weeks. Completely redesigned all high school senior communications for prospective students. Brought ownership of Doane's web properties into the Office of Strategic Marketing and Communications and partnered with a national marketing firm to redesign an eleven-year-old Doane website. Responsible for the launch of over ten new academic programs in five years. Launched DoaneX, Doane's brand for the edX learning platform. Worked with the Athletic Department to build brand equity with a new athletic logo and visual identity. Launched Doane's new mission, vision and values campaign. Created a production studio and a new live stream video brand, Doane Live, during COVID-19 to expand our reach and quality virtually. Produced numerous videos and TV spots for Doane.

Worked directly with business development and product teams to create effective and measurable marketing strategies that achieved product roadmap and business goals. Led initial branding efforts and the beta launch communication strategy for Hudl Sideline, a sideline instant replay technology, and Hudl Assist, a new sports analyst network. Coordinated a national campaign targeting high school athletic directors.

Helped grow the marketing team from two to 13 full-time employees in four years. Supervised the ASEM web team consisting of four full-time employees, maintaining ten division websites. Managed multiple projects from conception to completion. The most successful project, Perls of Knowledge, earned national media attention from the Wall Street Journal, Mashable, Buzzfeed, and Marketplace. Increased web-generated leads by over 450% for Online & Distance Education in less than one year. Worked closely with an outside agency to produce the university's national television spot.

Supported websites for over 35 direct clients and four agency partners. Designed, managed, and maintained a product R&D tool, Vipa Labs, that allowed users to submit and vote for new CMS product enhancements included in a subsequent development release. Created and distributed an interactive advertising podcast called agencySHIFT to help position Vipa Solutions as a leader in the interactive advertising industry.
